Made of San Mai VG-10 steel with an attractive bead blasted finish, this premium Japanese steel is specially designed for high-quality blades used in cutlery and known for its durability and maintaining a hardness of Rc 60 without becoming brittle. The 6-inch straight edge, fixed blade is hammer forged to create the blade’s distinctive pattern and has a clip point shape that allows a quicker and deeper puncture upon insertion, sharpens easily and makes quick work of any task. The ergonomically contoured and well-balanced handle has a black finish and is made of a high strength, no-slip, abrasion and impact resistant glass-reinforced nylon to fit comfortably in your hand. A lanyard hole is also located at the base of the handle. The included black sheath has been crafted in Japan from thick rich leather, with a splash design stitched into its face. The snap closure and belt loop attachment will always keep the Forge safely protected and close to you at all times. This knife has an overall length of 10.88-inches, blade thickness of 0.20-inches and weight of 10.10-ounces.
